Richard Wood – Snøhetta Architecture

Richard Wood is an architect and design leader based in Hong Kong, serving as Managing Director for Asia at Snøhetta, the internationally recognised architecture and design practice. He has lived and worked across the Asia region since 2012, leading multidisciplinary teams on large public, institutional and urban projects in markets including Hong Kong, Japan and Greater China. His portfolio includes major developments such as the Tokyo Shibuya Upper West Project and Hong Kong’s AIRSIDE mixed-use complex, among others. Under his leadership, Snøhetta’s Hong Kong office champions sustainable, community-centred design that integrates cultural context with innovative architectural thinking. Richard holds a Master of Architecture from The Bartlett, University College London, and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
