Lucy Goodgrove
RWS Global manager, Costume Manager Alton Towers
WS Global is the world leader in groundbreaking live moments across entertainment and sports, creating customized guest experiences spanning theatrical productions, live events, immersive destinations, multimedia, consumer products and more.
As a Costume Manager at Alton Towers Resort, I oversee the production and maintenance of costumes for all entertainment products. I manage the team of Costume Assistants to ensure high-quality costumes are available for live shows and events. I also handle inventory control, budgeting, and workshop management.
Time: 11.30 – 12.30
Emily Chicken
Junior Costume Designer Universal Pictures
A film industry professional with hands-on experience across major studio productions, specialising in costume departments. They have worked as a Costume Trainee with Warner Bros. Entertainment and Universal Pictures, gaining strong foundations in costume design, organisation, and on-set support. Currently a Crowd Costume Trainee at Netflix, they continue to build expertise in managing costumes for large-scale productions. Additional freelance and short film work has further developed their adaptability, teamwork, and understanding of fast-paced production environments.

Abigail Evans
Fashion, Photography & PR
Abigail’s experience has been varied with hands-on work experience across the fashion, photography and creative industries, highlighting her proactive approach to learning and professional development. Abigail has worked extensively as a Photographer’s Assistant, supporting fashion editorials, jewellery lookbooks and high-fashion on-location shoots. Her role has included assisting with lighting and backdrops, coordinating models and creative teams, managing props and equipment, and maintaining organised, efficient sets—often within the high-pressure environment of London Fashion Week.
Alongside photography, Abigail has gained valuable experience in luxury fashion through her role with designer Maria Grachvogel, where she supported marketing, wholesale and CRM operations. This included managing social media and newsletters, updating websites, merchandising stock, producing digital content, tracking sales reports and communicating with luxury clients. These responsibilities gave her a strong understanding of the commercial and branding side of the fashion industry.

Poppy Howell
Womenswear Designer for Kizn, Sumwon Studios
Experienced multi-product designer across Wovens, Denim, Jersey, Knitwear, Swim and Athleisure.
Graduate from Nottingham Trent University, in MA Fashion Design 2021. First class BA (Hons) Fashion at University of Lincoln 2019. Winner of Royal Society of Arts Student Design Awards 2021. (FRSA)
Poppy is a fashion designer based in Manchester with experience working across leading high-street and contemporary womenswear brands. She is currently a Fashion Designer at SUMWON STUDIOS, where she contributes to the design and development of collections within a fast-paced, trend-driven environment. Prior to this, she worked as a Fashion Designer at Kaiia the Label, building on her creative and technical skills across the full design process.
Poppy began her career in assistant and junior design roles at brands including Public Desire, 4th & Reckless and Missguided, gaining strong foundations in garment development, trend research and commercial design. Her progression through these roles reflects her growing responsibility and expertise, as well as her ability to adapt across different brand identities. With hands-on experience throughout the design lifecycle, Poppy brings a practical, creative and commercially aware approach to fashion design.
